World traveler and marginal artist "sets fire" to Pitomača's ditches
Today, something happened in our region that will be remembered for a long time. Our established artist – the one fellow villagers know for his tireless wandering, running, and double-digit kilometers, and lately more often on two Wheels of Silence – decided to bring art where it most sincerely belongs.
We are talking about an author who has traveled a good part of Croatia and the rest of the world, and whose work on the margins of art intrigues the public. Along with the brush, he skillfully handles tools for creating light-writings (photography), for which he has been multi-awarded.
Installation Locations:
- × STREET: Acrylics on a bench and an old plane tree.
- × FENCE: Installations on the fences of Pitomača's streets.
- × FOREST: Tree canopy and the decay of an old stump.
Before the viewing itself, the author read selected parts from his book in progress – WHEELS OF SILENCE – in the peace of the forest expanse.

The ceremony was supposed to be enhanced by an R’n’R band, but they canceled due to "technical issues" (singer Kurt Cobain has been unavailable since 1994).
Into the Annals of Marginal Art
This exhibition enters the annals of our region and the wider cultural context of world marginal art. The wheels must keep turning!

Svjetski putnik i umjetnik margine "zapalio" pitomačke jarke
Danas se u našem kraju dogodilo nešto što će se dugo pamtiti. Naš etablirani umjetnik – onaj kojeg suseljani poznaju po neumornim skitnjama, trčanju i dvoznamenkastim kilometrima, a u zadnje vrijeme sve češće i na dva Kotača tišine – odlučio je iznijeti art tamo gdje on najiskrenije pripada.
Riječ je o autoru koji je obišao dobar dio Lijepe naše i ostatka svijeta, a čiji radovi na marginama arta intrigiraju javnost. Uz kist, vješto barata alatkama za izradu svjetlopisa, za što je višestruko nagrađivan.
Lokacije postava:
- × ULICA: Akrilici na klupi i staroj platani.
- × PLOT: Postava na ogradama pitomačkih ulica.
- × ŠUMA: Krošnja stabla i trulež staroga panja.
Prije samog razgledavanja, autor je u miru šumskog prostranstva pročitao odabrane dijelove iz svoje knjige u nastajanju – KOTAČI TIŠINE.
